THIRSTY THURSDAYS: ONE POTATO, SWEET POTATO

Welcome to today’s Thirsty Thursdays Post! Todays entry is simplistic yet delicious sent in by Joe Wesley! Our wonderful friend of many years that has also contributed towards our blog as a photographer on Nostalgia & Kitty Sunnies post!

One Potato, Sweet Potato

1 Peeled Orange 1 Pear 2 Carrots 1 Sweet Potato

Here are some books that Joe recommends from Jack Lalanne’s books.

As you know oranges are rich in Vitamin C but they have over 40 health benefits that you may not know. They help prevent a lot of cancers & are useful for tumors, arthritis, gout & more.

Carrots provide rich health benefits for vitamin A, your skin, eyes, cancer prevention & more.

Pears are packed with nutrients, fiber & antioxidants not only are they a great snack they also help give a natural sweetener to this delicious drink. They are a very good source of Vitamin B2, C, E, copper & potassium.

Sweet Potatoes are a great source of beta-carotene. They raise your blood levels of Vitamin a will meet (in most cases) your daily average for Vitamin A from one sweet potato alone. They are rich in antioxidants & research has shown that particularly when passing through our digestive tract, sweet potato cyanidns & peonidins & other color related phyto-nutrients may be able to lower the potential health risk posed by heavy metals & oxygen radicals. Which is not only great for those with digestive tract problems like IBS but for all persons wanting to reduce the potential risk posed by heavy metal residues (like mercury or cadmium or arsenic) in their diet.

Now if that’s not enough to see how well this can benefit you & is worth trying I don’t know what is!

Happy Juicing!
